Tweens' Spending Habits and Money Management

Tweens, those between age 8 and 14, are the targets of marketing efforts directed at those eager to spend parents' money or some of their own newly acquired dollars. Deborah Haynes, professor at Montana State University in Bozeman, stresses the importance of a parent's role in helping tweens manage money and monitoring their spending habits.
