Troops Against Predatory ScamsMilitary members are one of the most targeted groups for financial fraud and scams. Andrew Roth, director of education and outreach, California Department of Corporations, Sacramento, Calif., leads the education program called Troops Against Predatory Scams (TAP$), which helps raise awareness about scams aimed at military servicemembers. American Share Insurance - ACU deposits are insured up to $250,000 per account. By member choice, ACU is not federally insured.
